Ghausia Masjid is our local communities’ hub for Islamic welfare and community issues. The Masjid is committed to preserving an Islamic identity, building and supporting a viable Muslim community promoting comprehensive Islamic way of life based on the teachings of the Qur’an & Sunnah.
The Masjid started off with just one 3 bedroom house back in 1985 purchased by the local people of Savile Town under the leadership of Haji Muhammad Suleman (Late). Many other local people all helped build this Masjid to what it is today. The Majid has now grown to be the centre of worship and education of Savile Town and surrounding areas.
The Masjid offers daily Salah, Qur’anic classes for Children and Adults Men & Women. Short Courses covering the manners & Etiquettes of worship and recitation as well as character building are offered FREE to the wider community.
It also has faculties for Janaza, Washing, Khatams & other community events, alongside the service of Nikah and outreach work. It has grown to be the focus point of the local Muslim community.
